We all love a roast of chip potato with their wonderful golden colour, crisp outside and soft centre.
I wanted a simple execution behind the roasties with just a few herbs tossed in. The chips looked amazing in the chip basket with the cook and hint of atmosphere behind to add more story. This year we have made a concerted effort to make the food look more real, cropping looser and including more of the surroundings

New Potatoes

Charlotte or any new waxy potatoes should never be underestimated, especially when covered in spring herbs.
We wanted to show a delicious bowl of new spring potatoes with a hint of kitchen behind. Piles of plates, jugs on a rack and of course a Le Creuset casserole. I love Le Creuset now, especially the orange colour but years ago i couldn't stand it. Orange is such a contemporary trendy colour.
I also love the shape of the pale sage green gravy jug, such an elegant shape.
