Paul Smith Launches his ‘Check’.
We wanted a brightly covered backdrop and a Venice canal was the chosen spot. The model had to be a Jack Kerouac character out of a novel ‘On the road…’
The canal was a perfect location as it allowed me plenty of depth to set the camera well away from the model, using a long lens to flatten the image and prevent too much distortion. Most streets would be too narrow and have too many people walking pass.
The model was great, especially in the jacket.
