RECORD COVER - 80's BAND, WIDE BOY AWAKE

I have been recently working on an 80’s record cover for a band called Wide Boy Awake made up of ex Adam & the Ants members and my old photo assistant friend Harley Price.

When I was an assistant in 81 Charlotte Street with 2nd assistant Harley, a David Bowie look a like (from Man who fell to earth), the area was not only famous for the explosion of Saatchi & Saatchi but also the New Romantic movement. Boy George, Steve Strange, Marilyn, Hayzi Fantaysee (Jeremy Healy & Kate Garner), the ‘Blitz Kids all lived 5 minutes up the road in the Mews by Warren Street. Film director Steve Wooley worked on the door of the Scala Cinema, 50m away in Tottenham Street.
